Here’s all our important dates for the year so far, from extra rehearsals to school closing dates, get the calendars marked and be prepared for a busy rest of 2024.
April 2024
Monday 15th of April - Return to classes
On this day we will return from Easter break and resume our normal timetable.
The 15th we will be prepping our Musical Theatre team for their recording session, music sheets will be given out to all MT pupils to begin practise for their annual recording session, which will take place in June.
This week we will also be giving our costume hire envelopes for the show, look out for these in your kids dance bags.
It’s full prep season for our show… costumes have been planned, music has been edited and we are ready to finalise our dances and get the TDC to work. LETS DO THIS TDC!
May 2024
Sunday 26th of May, @ TDC Studios
1st Show rehearsal will take place at the studio, all TDC pupils participating in the show are encouraged to make sure they are in attendance to all additional show practices.
By this time we plan on having all show routines finished, this will be the first run through of the show. Times for the rehearsal are TBC.
June 2024
Saturday 15th of June @ Giesland Estate
Our annual awards night will take place. Check back on our announcements for the awards night to find out what to expect from this exciting celebration of TDC.

Sunday the 23rd of June @ TDC Studios
Musical Theatre Recording Session. We will be welcoming Splash Productions back for our annual recording session. All our MT pupils must be in attendance to feature on the recording. Each class will be singing on their tracks for the show. This is an amazing opportunity for all the kids, make sure you don’t miss it. Session will run for all classes, Junior, Intermediate and Senior from 2pm - 4pm.
Saturday the 29th of June - Closed for Summer
This will be our last running class before summer break. We will be closed for the month of July.
July 2024
Again, we will be closed for the month of July for the Summer Holidays.
Sunday the 21st of July @ TDC Studios
Our second show rehearsal will be held in July at the studio to keep our dances fresh in our minds over the holidays, finalise costumes and make sure we’re fully prepared for the show before returning to classes. Attendance is encouraged for all, as practise makes progress and we hope to be true professionals ready for stage at this time.
If for any reason your child can’t attend please make sure you let us know in advance. Times TBC.
August 2024
Monday the 5th of August - Back to Business
Classes will return from summer. Enrolment dates will be put in place over the holidays to resign up for all your chosen classes for the academic year ahead, 2024/25 session.
Sunday the 25th of August @ Beacon Arts Center
Our on stage rehearsal! The last big event before our event of the year. This rehearsal is mandatory for all Pupils in the show to ensure the kids have sufficient practice on the stage to go out on stage day fully prepared and confident, especially with us being in a new venue this year. We don’t want any child to feel nervous or unprepared for the show, we want it to be a fun and exciting day, filled with cheers, glitter, costumes and having fun with their friends. The stage rehearsal helps us all shake off these nerves, please make sure your child is in attendance.
Saturday the 31st of August & Sunday the 1st of September @ the Beacon Arts Center.
Set to be the show of the year, our best one yet…
TDC Presents - Dancing Through the Decades, our 2024 annual show at the Beacon Arts Centre.
Tickets are still on sale via the venues website.
Our calendar from now until our show in August/September, please make sure you take notes of all of these important dates and keep them free.
Please remember to set up your performers ticket, to confirm you will be participating in the show. We need to confirm numbers of all the pupils in each performance.
As mentioned additional rehearsals for the show are really important for feeling prepared, but they are also a great opportunity for us to work as a team, growing as performers and showcasing our hardwork and dedication. These are great opportunities for our pupils, we hope you can take the time to keep note of all our dates.

Thanks for sharing the 2025 calendar details! It's great to see everything laid out so clearly for the rest of the year—definitely helps to stay organized. The extra rehearsals and preparation sound like fantastic opportunities for the dancers to really shine.
