Welcome to our TDC Fam!

Hi TDC Fam,

We would like to welcome everyone to a new term at TDC, we are so excited to get started! Classes will return with our new timetable on Monday the 7th of August.

We wanted to make sure everyone feels welcome and prepared. Please make sure you've checked the times and venue for your childs classes, as Saturday classes are now held at Garnock Community Campus.

Arriving at Class

As mentioned all classes will be returning the week beginning the 7th of August. Please make sure you are on time for all classes and fully prepared. At both venues we ask for pupils to wait at the studio entrance until collected by a member of staff and ask that parents wait at the entrance to collect children as we will bring them to you. This makes sure we know everyone has been collected and stops any safety issues up and down stairs. Please note that preschool classes are the exception parents must come in to drop off and collect all preschool children, using our one way system.

Be prepared

We want our kids to have the best experience possible, to do this please make sure you arrive to class in appropriate dance wear and shoes for your class. We always recommend to send your child with plenty of juice for class and a snack if they are there for longer than an hour at a time.

Please keep in mind we are a NUT FREE dance school as we have several pupils with allergies and we kindly ask that you check your child does not bring any nuts into our premises for everyones safety.

All children will be given a box for personal items during class time.

Uniform

Uniform is important for everyone to feel and look like a team, we want to ensure we are all equal in our big happy dance family. Details on how to purchase uniform have been posted on our socials, please get in touch via email for any enquiries. We don't expect any of your pupils starting out to have full uniform as we know it's an expensive commitment. If you do not yet have uniform don't panic, you can simply wear all black to class.

Any class where there is a change of footwear or bare feet, please try to send the kids with slip on shoes, crocs, sliders etc. to help us get the most out of class time.

If your child attends a stretch and skills class or ballet class, we ask that the kids wear a leotard or tight clothing where possible. Jumpers and hoodies will be asked to be taken off after any class warm up.

TDC Values

Lastly, we at TDC try our best to embody family values, we try our best to make everyone feel at home, appreciated and part of a team. We will be starting off our new term reminding our pupils of our values. We hope we can continue to thrive in a loving environment as we continue to grow. If any issues ever arise please be assured that you can come to any member of staff first at any time and we will do our best come to a resolution for you.
